Protection of private information is a matter of great importance to RAF Technology. Advances in technology have made safeguarding private information all the more important. This statement describes RAF’s overall commitment to privacy with respect to nonpublic personal information collected by RAF.

A. Types of Information Collected

RAF collects certain nonpublic personal information, which may include name, address, Social Security number, phone number, date of birth, and driver’s license number. This information is supplied to us through two avenues: a) third party data suppliers which we use in our products, and b) our customers who provide their collected information for use during the development and testing phases of custom products.

B. How We Use Information

RAF uses personal information to develop software products and to test the accuracy and coverage of databases used in conjunction with the products.

C. Parties Who Have Access to the Information

Except as otherwise described in this notice, RAF restricts access to nonpublic personal information to employees of RAF. A Confidential Information Agreement, signed by each employee at the beginning of his or her employment with RAF, addresses the obligation to protect confidential information received from third parties during the normal course of business.

D. Confidentiality and Security of Nonpublic Personal Information

RAF maintains physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards in compliance with applicable laws and regulations to guard personal information from unauthorized access, alteration, or premature destruction. We update and test our technology on a regular basis in order to improve the protection of customer information.

RAF documents each receipt of media containing non-public personal information. This media is destroyed or returned to the originator, at their request or in accordance with written agreements. RAF does not retain copies of customer-supplied data after such disposal of the information.

E. Restrictions on Sharing Information with Outside Companies

The right to disclose and use the personal information is limited by the policies of our firm, applicable law, our Code of Professional Conduct, and nondisclosure agreements with outside companies where appropriate.

RAF does not sell personal information to outside companies. We do not share customer information with outside companies for purposes of marketing their products and services to you.

F. Information Collected from Our Website

RAF does not collect personal information from visitors to our website unless additional information is specifically requested by the visitor through email. This information may, at times, be referred to companies whom we deem better suited to fulfill the request, but is never sold.
