Dave Reeves, Chief Executive Officer, is a proven corporate executive with over 20 years experience in the technology industry. He has a successful track record of leading technology businesses and has been an executive or adviser in transactions totaling in excess of $500 million. Prior to being appointed as the CEO, Dave joined RAF as the Chief Financial Officer in November 2004. Prior to RAF, Dave was the CFO of Mindplay LLC, the leading provider of table management systems for the gaming industy. Mindplay was acquired in 2004 by Bally Gaming. Dave joined Mindplay from Wavtrace Inc., a broadband telecommunications equipment manufacturer, where he was the CFO and successfully negotiated a strategic partnering transaction, investment from and sale to Harris Corporation. He has a broad base of leadership, financial, accounting and administrative experience including capital raising, system implementation and financial reporting. Dave holds a B.A. in quantitative economics from Stanford University.
William Brandt, Vice President Business Development, is responsible for establishing critical business relationships as well as maintaining strategic alliances with RAF’s partners in the commercial and government sectors. Mr. Brandt executes RAF’s growth strategy of providing partners leading technology solutions that differentiate their products and services. Mr. Brandt was previously a ten-year veteran at the U. S. Postal Service, initially recruited to a two-year multi functional engineering and management development program. He held numerous positions in the field and at headquarters in operations, finance and marketing. Mr. Brandt holds a Bachelor of Science in Engineering degree from Arizona State University.
George S. Harbachuk, Vice President of Marketing, has 34 years of experience in technology development and systems integration with an extensive domestic & international business background in hardware and software system management solutions. Prior to joining RAF Technology, Mr. Harbachuk held several Sr. Management positions in Business relations and Professional Services at Bally Gaming & Systems and Harris Corporation where George was responsible for all aspects of product lifecycle including: strategy, pricing, promotion, product performance tracking, evaluation and service. George holds a BS in Business Administration from Elmhurst College and an Electronic Technicians Diploma from DeVry Institute of Technology.
Mark Tocci, Vice President of Research and Development, is a proven engineer and director with 18 years of experience in software development, computer vision, and machine learning. As VP he oversees the development of new technologies and leads the engineering team at RAF. He previously held the position of Director of Recognition Technology and holds 11 patents in computer science and machine vision. Prior to joining RAF, Mark was an 8 year veteran at Microsoft where he was responsible for advancing Windows Tablet technology. Mark holds a BS and Masters in Mathematics from the University of Washington.
Brian Elmenhurst, Director, OCR Technologies, has a decade of experience in the field of optical character recognition (OCR) technology at RAF and is responsible for the Argosy Post™ profit center. Mr. Elmenhurst previously managed the Technical Services department and was responsible for implementing RAF’s technical support and professional services, training courses and software release procedures for the Argosy Post™ and Cartouche™ product lines. Additionally Brian holds two patents on the Argosy Post product line. Prior to joining RAF, Brian was Operations Manager for Heston Technical Services where he managed installation crews, inventory and designed home automation systems and his work in this field has been published in several trade magazines. Brian holds a BS in Physics from Western Washington University and has been certified to teach Physics and Math at the secondary level.
Lee Sargrad, Director, Business Development, has over 20 years experience working with private and public sector companies in the areas of marketing, sales, financial improvement, and strategic planning. Prior to joining RAF, Lee served as the President of Amtrak’s Mail and Express Strategic Business Unit, where he led a $145 million business with more than 450 employees. Under his leadership, Mail and Express developed customized logistics and shipment tracking solutions for high value, time sensitive customers including USPS, UPS and FedEx. He has also held the positions of Vice President, Marketing and Sales for Triple Crown Services; a $200 million transportation and logistics provider, as well as Managing Director at Jet Fresh Brands where he created integrated brand building strategies for European food and beverage companies seeking growth opportunities in the North American market. He holds a BA in History and an MBA from the Pennsylvania State University.
